Howe + Russell

In July 2023 my family and I upped and moved to the country. A tree change! Well, sort of. My entire family live in the town of Wangaratta, North East Victoria, and after 12 years in Sydney, the pull of family finally inspired us to make the move.

I met the unstoppable Ashlee Russell, of Howe and Russell, not long after I arrived. What a girl; I liked her straight away. I was amused when she sheepishly admitted that, despite establishing and running a successful HR firm, she and her partner George, had no website to speak of. I immediately offered my services.

The duo already had a logo which was clean and easy to work with. The bulk of the work lay in creating a tone of voice and crafting quality copy that described the work they do with so many local businesses in the area. And of course, building upon the visual cues that the logo offered to create a colour and typography scheme for the website.
