I have a few favourite clients — people with whom I’ve been working with for years. Tina Daisley is one such person. Every call we have is a delight (and may traverse onto subjects weird and wonderful), and I am lucky to call such a great client, who allows me to do great work, a good friend.

After branding Tina’s consultancy in 2018, she returned four years down the track with some runs on the board, a team and a thriving business. It was time to rebrand from an individual consultant to a business entity.

I clapped my hands with joy when I took her call. This was going to be fun!

How we branded an organisational change consultancy

Doing a project with return clients is so enjoyable. It’s heartening to see that the work you once did has helped to grow the business in such a way that it needs a rebrand to reflect its new direction.

We kicked off with a strategy session; sense checking her current audience, goals and service lines. I immediately started visually compiling a list of cues to call upon, and the moodboard looked like this:

Tina was thrilled — and onwards we leapt into the rebrand process, which went like this:

  • Key message formation

  • Logo design

  • Visual identity suite: colour palette, typography and imagery style

  • Website Design + development, building a Squarespace site

  • Copywriting

  • Branded templates

  • Marketing colateral; and

  • Content creation for LinkedIn and scheduled blog posts

I loved where we landed with this. The colours particulary, vibrant and energetic and totally representative of Tina, yet an appropriate tone to converse with her largely corporate target market.
