Dr George Liang

Dr George Liang is an emerging breast cancer, endocrine and general surgeon, based in the Western suburbs of Sydney. 

George embarked on private practice for the first time, opening his rooms in Castle Hill. Amadeus Brand were engaged to build a brand and website to communicate his new clinic to patients, GPs and other medical professionals.

How Amadeus Brand built a brand for a breast cancer and endocrine surgeon

Having thoroughly enjoyed working with medical professionals before, we were familiar with the market and types of messages that would help their audience. We knew that it could be a tough time for people facing health concerns, and clear communication was vital to conveying the types of messages that would put them at ease, and lead them to the best medical outcomes.

We were really interested in what made George memorable as a medical professional, surgeon and person, so that we could use this to create a strong and resonant brand — one that uniquely communicated George’s background, skills and personality.

Simple solutions are always the best, and this was an excellent case to demonstrate this! It was extremely rewarding to distill the two focuses of George’s surgical practice into three simple circles for the logo. The result even very subtlely referenced a person with their arms open wide, and though this was not the intention, provided a nice message that spoke to George’s friendly and human-centered approach to patient care.
