The CLIENT

OM Health is a Sydney-based Orofacial Myology practice, headed by Rochelle McPherson, a veteran of the industry with a thriving private practice, as well as being a keynote speaker at conferences and other events across the country where she is often invited to share her knowledge and expertise.  

The brief

As the demand for Rochelle as a speaker and consultant to allied health professions increased, Rochelle was eager to not only lift the professional business brand of OM Health, but also strengthen her own personal brand. She wanted a complete creative overhaul and was willing to be guided in this process, where we determined that a complete brand refresh (including logo) be undertaken, headshot and branded imagery be created as well as a completely new website be designed and developed. This was all to be supported with a comprehensive social media strategy across both Instagram and Facebook to promote her new personal brand and raise her profile as a thought leader in her industry.

The Creative

The colour palette was, interestingly enough, the first element that came together. Hues of aqua and grey immediately sprung to mind, as I knew that I wanted to play upon the medical nature of her field, but also bring a sense of the contemporary to it. It needed to marry professionalism with warmth, and without the clinical nature that accompanies some medical branding. 

Whilst developing a brief for our photographer Kiren, I focused on warm and friendly imagery that told a story, all set in a scene that pulled in some of the brand palette. The results were spectacular - with shades of aqua and teal popping through and communicating the brand beautifully.

With these core branding 'blocks' in place, the web design and development was a really intuitive process, as I let the imagery and colour drive the look and feel of the overall site. We created new copy to communicate her brand, as well as refining existing copy to build out her website and create a hub of information to position her as a true thought leader in her industry.
